Seems a simple question doesn't it? you have a name and you know that your character is an up and coming badass in the city. but what else do you know about your character?
What's your character favorite thing in the world?
What makes your character comfortable and uncomfortable?
What goals do they have if any?
What are they scared of?
What makes them the most happy?
Do they have an enemy? who is it? why are they their enemy?
Do the love being a vampire? or do they hate their unlife? Why?
These are just a few of the questions you can use to help you build your character more.
*Do a character sheet. Enter as much info into it as you want people to know about your character. Usually it consists of your characters vital statistics and physical characteristics.
*Character creation. How did your character become who and what they are? This is sometimes called the backstory. Here is where you usually tell how your character came to be a vampire and how they arrived in Abyss city.
*Do a Rp with your character alone. One that gives an insight on how your character thinks and feels. Thing of a dilemma that your character has to think through, a simple day in the unlilfe. A Journal is also another medium way to accomplish this.
The more you know about your character the easier it is to Role-play that character. The thing is that it takes a lot of thought and work to generate a really good Role-Playing character. and I want our family to have the very best! (not that we aren't all ready *giggles*
Most important thing is to have fun and if you have questions post them here, or ask! We are not going to laugh at you or any of that nonsense.
Hell I still have others read what I write, and I have been doing this for years. same with others. Nothing wrong with getting a second opinion.
