Grim headed down to the Library do see if maybe... just maybe he could find some information. He wanted to find a starting point and work out from there.
Grim sat in one of the leather chairs looking at some old newspapers, trying to find some small bit of info. They had some photos of the scene, but they really didn't show much, just Vikki lying on the ground in her own blood. Grim was hoping they might have the street in which the incident occurred. Grim continued to read the article. As he read he also wondered why Gena had this old paper. Whatever the reason he was glad she did.
Grim reached into his pocket and pulled out a cigar. He sat the paper down for a second, he lit the cigar. He then continued reading. With what little information he found in the paper, Grim headed over to the desk and looked for a notepad and something to write with. 'Best to take some notes, that way I can compare the information I find.' he thought. Finding a notepad and pencil, he headed back to the chair. Sitting back down he continued his own little investigation.

Vikki walks in after a few minutes, carrying the tray of coffe and fresh donuts to help them both get ready for the night. She moved over to him, sitting the tray upon a small table " Here you go baby, a little snack to help you wake up." she says and kisses his cheek.
She sees the photograpf of herselfin the paper, my god the newspapers sure didnt care about anyones feelings these days to show such bold photographs." Wait.. how.. All i remember is trying to run from him, and laying there waiting to die when he shot me and then Paco finding me. How.. when did anyone even take this picture?"
She was shocked to see it, it made her feel physically ill to see it and she had to put the paper down and turn away, not even able to read the article just now." Geez what the fuck is going on. Did someone do it as some sick joke, or did they really think i was allready dead before Paco found me?" she said, a hint of disgust and unease in her tone to think of morbid bastards just standing there watching her, waiting for her to die.

“Vikki dear calm down, you should know how the media is; they will do anything for a story. I just hope this was not some fools stunt.” Grim raised from the chair and wrapped his arms around her, holding her near… “Everything will be alright dear, trust me.”
Grim began to think that the robbery might have been staged, but something unexpected happened, Vikki entered the building, got what she needed and left. The man ‘holding up’ the 7-11 didn’t want to take any chances and gunned her down, leaving her to die in the street. But Vikki did bring up an interesting question though… how did her photograph end up in the paper?
Grim also was trying to figure out how Paco fit into all this. How did he know where to be and when to be there… was it by chance or just dumb luck? Either way it brought Grim to Vikki and for that he was eternally grateful. “Baby I know this is going to sound kind of crazy, but let me see the scars from the bullets.” Grim hoped he remembered what he knew about bullet wounds and the holes they made.
Grim thought of one other way to maybe get Vikki to remember some details, and he was going to try it before they burned up the streets. First he wanted to check the bullet wounds then try the meditation, then do the foot work.

" I know.. its just.. Seeing that picture kinda makes me feel, i dunno violated in a way. Its like everyone knows what the hells going on but me. I know thats not true but it doesnt help the fustration" she sighs and holds on to him.
When he asks to see her scars she nods" Ok love, im guessing they healed over well, im not sure how visable they all are" She says and removes her top.She stands there in jeans and her bra, top in hand and lets him see her back" I have an exit wound in my stomach, i was shot at least twice but im not sure if the other was a flesh wound or if a bullets still in me"she says.

Grim examined Vikki’s wounds, like she said, they have healed rather well. The entrance wounds looked like 9mm, and the exit wound is consistent with that of a 9mm. “Well dear, I can tell you for absolute certainty the type of weapon that was used. And judging from the entrance hole you were shot at close range.”
Grim ran his hands over her wounds, “If you want, you can put your shirt back on…hehehe. Seriously; though we should go to the spot where Paco found you. Maybe it might jog something.” Grim leaned in before she got redressed and kissed her.

She kissed him, her hand softly caressing his face before putting her top back on." Allright love, maybe you are right. I cant say i look forward to seeing the spot but i know it must be done." she nods" Let me fortify myself a bit first" she smiles and takes a donut and a cup of coffe and starts to eat.
" Maybe we should go to the 7 11 too, its just round the corner i believe from where i was shot.Ive never been to that one sense i was brought across, i wonder if anyone there would recognise me. If they did, either know me or remember that pic and they saw me now.. im not sure if that would be a good thing or a bad thing.."

Grim helped himself to some donuts and a cup of coffee. "Ok dear, after we finish our snacks, we'll head over to the 7-11. Maybe no one will remember what happened, maybe they will, who knows. We will just have to find out I guess. Don't worry sweety I will be by your side."
Grim finished his donuts and coffee, grabbed his trench coat and waited for Vikki to join him. "You ready Honey?" Grim was ready to get this party started.

She polished off her snack and grabbed her purse and joined him. As they made theit was from the castle she said"Do you want to teleport or take the car?" Gena had reciently bought herself a new car but she kept her old one around in case anyone in the family needed it and Vikki had a key. She was intending to have bought her own when shed subclassed in her studies but that was going to be a bit in the future so she drove around in Genas dodge quite a bit.
It didnt matter to her if they drove or ported, she was somewhat concerned of being recognised and tailed tho she supposed it was just paranoid nerves but god knew she didnt want to bring any danger to her family .

"Lets use a scroll, we get there quicker and it will give use more time to check things out." Grim made one final check to see if his weapons were hidden, no need scaring the locals.
"Ok dear what was the street corner, if you can recall." Out of all the photos and stories, Grim never seen where this happened mentioned. He had hoped Vikki would remember. "I wish my investigation revealed some more information, but all I kept finding was a young woman was shot and was pronounced dead at the scene. What I don't understand is why they didn't take you to the morgue."

Ok, i think that paper said it downtown somewhere,, on fear street. Heh, apropriate name i guess. Hold on, here we go love " she says and reads the scroll.
{{ continue in rp away from home, i dont know what all streets are covered in the downtown area of the game so im just trying to think of something lol , street locales can be changed or made more spacific as needed }}
